Here are 20 simple and practical things you can do to improve your health and well-being.

1. Drink more water
Aim to take 60 oz of water per day. Add water to fruits and vegetables to reduce water consumption.
2. Sleep more
You should sleep 7-9 hours every day. Do you have trouble sleeping? Drink chamomile tea before bed, turn off all electronics, do some light exercise or take a relaxing bubble bath.
3. Exit
The average person should take 10,000 steps a day. If you have an office job, get up every 30 minutes and take a walk around the office or exercise during your lunch break. Try these great office exercises too!
4. Stretching
Research has shown that stretching can improve health, well-being and quality of life. Lack of flexibility can lead to high blood sugar, muscle pain and stiff arteries.
5. Having breakfast

You don’t have to sit in a room for an hour to experience the benefits of meditation. Take 5-10 minutes each day to clear your mind and become one with yourself. Meditation reduces anxiety, increases creativity, improves the immune system, lowers blood pressure, reduces muscle tension, relieves headaches, helps with problem solving, helps with self-discovery, increases serotonin to improve overall mood and behavior to improve.

An easy way to improve your health is to prepare your own meals and eat them at home. Restaurant food may be delicious, but it’s full of unnecessary sodium, sugar, and unhealthy fats.
8. Time for friends and family
Your health and happiness will begin to improve as you spend more time with friends and family. Research shows that socializing, especially with close friends and loved ones, improves mood and reduces anxiety and depression.
9. Wash your sheets
The unfortunate reality is that dust mites, dead skin cells, and other germs want to sleep with you at night. Therefore, clean your sheets and pillowcases every 1-2 weeks to avoid diseases and other health problems.
10. Sponge for cleaning dishes
According to Dr. Charles Gerba, a microbiologist at the University of Arizona, “About 15 percent of sponges contain bacteria that can cause disease.” Remember to clean your sponge at least once a week. Just throw it in the dishwasher!
11. Use of technology

12. Smile more

13. Go outside
Being outdoors improves your mood, lowers your stress levels, stimulates your creativity and strengthens your immune system. Fresh air is full of satisfying negative ions, which can increase the flow of oxygen to the brain. Sunlight creates vitamin D in the body, which is essential for bone health. About 20-25 minutes in the sun is enough! Make sure you wear SPF to protect yourself from harmful UV rays.
14. Omega-3 fatty acids
Eating more omega-3s can reduce inflammation, fight depression and anxiety, improve memory, and improve your mood.
Good sources of omega-3s include salmon, tuna, walnuts, flaxseeds, hemp seeds, and leafy greens.
15. Organize
Stress is one of the biggest obstacles to a happy and healthy life. A messy office, a messy bedroom and missing important dates and meetings can significantly increase your stress levels.
Set aside 10 to 15 minutes each day to organize and review your to-do lists at work and at home. You’ll be surprised how much your stress level drops when you find and remember things and your life is less cluttered.
